Kindergarten Prep is designed to prepare children to enter kindergarten. We work daily on developmentally appropriate cognitive skills in the areas of literacy, math, science, art and music. We practice remaining on task while activities are going on around us. We work on critical and alternative thinking by finding multiple solutions to solve a problem. Our kiddos are truly prepared when it is time to enter kindergarten.
Most importantly our teachers promote respect. For us, that means respect for self, for others and for the world around us. We achieve this through personal responsibility, self-control and healthy coping mechanisms — all of which are invaluable life skills.
